Laser Acupuncture

Acupunture helps to promote health and alleviate pain. An acupuncturist is able to influence health and alleviate pain by stimulating certain areas along meridians of the body. With laser acupuncture the concept is the same except a low-level laser is used to stimulate those meridians.

Being treated with a low-level laser is less painful than needles because it doesn't actually puncture the skin. The light or energy beam that comes from the laser does not harm the skin. During the treatment the laser stimulates the acupuncture point and the cells of the organs undergo biochemical, structural, and electro chemical changes in which the organ function is improved and the patient gets pain relief.
